Hi, I,m Muchachita, a Spanish graphic&web designer based in London.

I've been freelancing for the last year and managing to survive in this expensive city.

I love beer, wine, Berlin, cooking... and I'd like to live in most of the countries of the world.

But at the moment and for some uncertain reasons I'm stuck in UK.

The Wishful Writer

I am the Wishful Writer and I blog.

About all kinds of things.

Like...I drink copious amounts of diet coke.

I have an amazing girlfriend and a guitar I can't play.

Her name is Bettye Ruth. My guitar, not my girlfriend.

Her name is April. I have an aunt that gets crazy when she drinks and a cowgirl hat that makes me feel ten feet tall and bullet proof. One day I want to be famous writer girl. And to live in a place where my trashy 20-year old neighbor doesn’t pull his Mustang onto the front lawn to unload his gaggle of kids.

For now, Apes and I live just outside of DC with our three dawgs. We all co-exist quite well as long as I don’t get in between the dogs and their bones and my girlfriend and her need to compulsively tidy up the house.

She and I are polar opposites. I throw shit everywhere. She folds, color co-ordinates, stamps and notarizes every article of clothing we own. I think details are over-rated. She can’t make a decision without logging at least a week of PHD-level research on her options.

But our relationship works. And makes for some pretty hilarious commentary.

April is not my “muse,” she’s my A-muse….

And I’m thankful for her and our life together every day.

Dykes And The City

hi, I' m Dykes in the City and I live in Ghent, Belgium. People tell me that Ghent doesn't really deserve be called a city and I often tend agree, it s such a cosy little. But you have to admit dykes and the city does sound pretty cool.

A few years ago I started blogging at http://www.dykesandthecity.com/ and I'm still going strong. It is the (virtual) place where I worship Bette Porter (my idol) and share my love for beautiful women and TV (mostly TV though). I confess, I am an addict. In 2007 I also founded The Lesbian Question, a blog where lesbians ask for advice.

When I'm not working (I serve my country, but not in a military way) or watching TV or getting on My Lover C.'s nerves I like to citytrip, take pictures, organize queer parties and pretend to be a DJ.

I don't have cats.

Firecracker!'s profile.

I'm the Firecracker! Otherwise known as the Lesbian Fashionista, and "Ugh, that really bitchy fierce girl." If it looks like I'm judging you from across the room, I probably am, but only because I really care. And because those shoes are all wrong. You really should have worn a square toe with that outfit.

Obviously, I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I do care about other things besides fashion. You know...well, and then there's...wait, what about that...damn. Okay wait! Celebrity gossip. And lipgloss (right, okay, you SAY that's linked to fashion, but I say it's a class all its own).

I'm also your typical lesbian, with one giant cat, a live-in girlfriend, and a healthy drinking problem. Oh wait, I quit drinking. Well, I'm an ex-vegan, and I eat organically, so how's that? Oh, and PS, cat hair is totally making a comeback as this year's haute fashion accessory. I'm making it happen, you'll see.

In all seriousness, I'm a fan of rock climbing, literature, cinema, politics and feminism. I'd love to combine fashion and feminism, and change the world that way, but I've got a long way to go. Who says you can't be feminist and catty?

I'm Gabi, and I watch a lot of TV. I mean, a lot. I think I have about 33 shows on my Tivo season pass. I'm thinking that there might be some kind of support group for this, but in the meantime, I'll just write a blog about it instead.

I've been living in Los Angeles for the past five years, and before that, I lived in Boston and New York. I moved out west to become a TV writer, and have spent the last five years getting lunch for a lot of TV writers. That's almost the same, right?

I like Los Angeles for the fact that I can go to the beach in January. I miss Boston for the snow, the changing of the seasons, and the fact that you can go places without a car.

When I'm not watching TV, I can usually be found incessantly quoting TV shows with my friends, rollerblading, dancing, hanging out at the beach, or reading a young adult novel. Very occasionally, when I'm lucky, I can be found working at an actual job.

Everything I need to know about life I learned from Chandler Bing, Jessica Stein, or Lorelai Gilmore. I often get into trouble for this. I think this quote, spoken by the great Chandler Bing during the 8th season of "Friends", sums up my outlook pretty well:

"I'm not great at the advice. Can I offer you a sarcastic comment? Some cheese?"

Grace C's Profile

Hello, my name is Grace, and I'm one of the Graces who run Grace the Spot, which, as of the end of February 2008, has only been up for a month, so you've never heard of it. But if you'd like to hear of it, please stop by every so often.

For the past eight years I've lived in or around New York City. I've taken a variety of paid and unpaid jobs, such as "well-paid number cruncher," "starry-eyed convert to the mass of hot air known as 'the dot com industry circa 2001,'" "unemployed schmuck who goes to art openings only for the free drinks," "occasional columnist for a music magazine that Americans have never heard of," "ramen-eating grad student," "record label intern paid in free CDs," and now, "severely-in-debt paper pusher."

Grace C. and her fiancee Grace R. live together in an apartment with central air and a dishwasher, which, in our neck of the woods, means "luxury living." We like dogs but not cats, but we can't have either in our apartment, so we make do with a roommate who empties the dishwasher, buys toilet paper and gives us free wine. Life is good.

Sinnerviewer is Lesbiatopia’s Special Projects Editor.

I (Shannon) live in the Atlanta area with my girlfriend, Melissa. I have 2 amazing teenagers who are the loves of my life. I freelance in marketing, writing and blogging.

My interests are music (80’s hair, hard rock, alternative), pop culture, live music, comedy, travel, swimming, movies (comedies, action), fitness, healthy cooking, good books, and margarita night with my friends. I am the biggest Joan Jett fan alive and I think I could go totally hetero for Jon Bon Jovi (Circa “These Days”) for about 6 minutes.

On my iPod: Joan Jett, 30 Seconds to Mars, Taking Back Sunday, Blink 182, P!nk, Iron Maiden, The Dollyrots, Rob Zombie, Linkin Park, The Cliks, Queensryche, Lita Ford, Mayday Parade, Aerosmith, Goo Goo Dolls, Atreyu, Girl in a Coma, The Spill Canvas, Foo Fighters, Y&T, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Puddle of Mud, and my country music compromise: Martina McBride.

Favorite Movies: This is Spinal Tap, Decline of the Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years, Somewhere in Time, The Color Purple, A Fish Called Wanda & all James Bonds starting with Roger Moore, especially Pierce Brosnan and excluding Timothy Dalton and that blond new guy. So basically, only Roger Moore & Pierce Brosnan James Bond movies.

My guilty pleasures: quality dark chocolate, reality TV (I am in love with my TiVo), reading Ann Coulter (yeah, I like her. She makes me laugh. Sue me!) and taking long, hot baths while burning earthy-scented candles.

You can visit my blog HERE or check me out on MySpace page RIGHT HERE.

Renee aka Lesberita

2/22/07 1 comments

Yo yo yo! Renee here, loving known as Lesberita,
publisher and founder of this fabulous Lesbian-
interest blog you have stumbled across on your
internet explorations.

Who I am?

I am a lesbian-identified woman. I am a writer, a girlfriend, a lover, an animal aficianado, a comic of sorts, an outdoor enthusiast, a foodie, a movie buff, an artist, a closeted reality-TV junky (ok, ok, I'm out of the closet), a dreamer, a poet, a surfer, a beach bum, and a bonafide nut job.

I grew up in Boston aka Beantown, went to college in New Hampshire where I snagged a Bachelor's of Science in Zoology. I like animals, specifically monkeys, but not trouser snakes. I'm a Myspace whore, an internet junkie, and a thrift store shopaholic. I like food, specifically in the categories of wine and cheese. I am a social butterfly and enjoy making my throngs of screaming fans laugh their asses off. I am also sarcastic.

I started this blog because I wanted to share with the world all things lesbian, thus Lesbiatopia was born. I greatly enjoy writing and sought the talents of other gay women on the internet to contribute to the blog. My dream is to make this blog the go-to resource for all lesbian subject-matter, from sex to pop-culture to music to advice to humor. You name, we have it, and if we don't, than we'll write it!

I currently living in the City of Angels aka Los Angeles, CA with my beautiful and amazing girlfriend and our two cats and puppy (Chihuahua/Jack Russel terrier mix), but I'm also married (in secret) to Sandra Bullock. My influences and heroes are Jane Goodall, Dorothy Parker, Molly Shannan and . My favorite quote is: "I don't know much about being a millionaire, but I'll bet I'd be darling at it." -- Dorothy Parker.

I love making friends. Will you be my friend?
